You are the future of medicine. The Sia Yorker Medical Science Scholarship exists to ensure that financial barriers don't stand in the way of your white coat. Founded to honor a young girl who dreamed of healing others, we have awarded 73 scholarships to Central Florida’s brightest graduating seniors.

Through our annual March Banquet, our community gathers to invest in your potential. We aren't just funding degrees; we are funding the doctors, researchers, and STEM leaders the world needs. We are passing Sia’s dream to you—let’s build the future of medicine together.​

2026 Medical Science Scholarship
Application Deadline
6 p.m. Wednesday, February 25th, 2026
To qualify for the Sia Yorker Medical Science Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Academic Standing: Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Residency: Must be a resident of Central Florida.

Education Level: Must be a graduating high school senior in the year the award is given.

Future Enrollment: Must be planning to attend an accredited Florida college or university as a full-time freshman in the upcoming academic year.

Field of Study: Must be pursuing a degree in Medical Science.

Mandatory Attendance: All scholarship recipients must attend the annual Sia Yorker Medical Science Scholarship Banquet (held in March) to receive their award.
